We have to get to the Wave Rider transformation, but before we do that, let’s take a look at some comparisons with the Zeta’s transforming siblings.

Real Grade Zeta

Folks, I think this is the end of the line for this Real Grade. It’s still broken, it’s getting even saggier, and I’m not really digging the look of it anymore.

This thing here is part of what broke me:

I basically found myself trying to make the Ultimate Build and Breakdown (and Photoshoot) of the High Grade Revive Zeta. It was becoming a whole thing, with multiple posts and over 200 photos. And all of this - all of it - for the stupidest reason imaginable; I saw a bunch of folks on Reddit slagging the Revive Zeta as being a bad kit, and I wanted to prove them wrong.

G-Frame FA - Rick Dias 2026-08-27

This is another vacation goodie. I’ve seen this thing for sale many times, but I need to be in a fit of vacation euphoria to finally pull the trigger on it. Which is weird considering it’s the Rick Dias, one of my all-time favorites:

It’s been a while since I’ve put together a G-Frame, and in the time since it appears that they changed to being G-Frame FA’s. What’s going on with that?

But first, a fun little fact I just learned (one that should have been obvious in retrospect, but I digress)

Here’s one of the goodies I got on my vacation trip. It’s a fascinating little model called the “RX78-2 Gundam Revival Version”, which is not to be mistaken for the Revive Gundam.

I was so excited I took this photo - and built the damn thing - from my hotel room
