Back from Bankruptcy

See, told you it wouldn’t be a forever break.

But man do I feel good coming back from it.

Sweet Freedom

As soon as I published the last post I felt as if a massive weight was removed from my shoulders. It’s funny how something as simple as saying “I’m not obligated to post content here” can have such a powerful psychological effect.

All I know for sure is that almost as soon as I said it, I felt inspired to get back into the lightbox and do some photography experiments. Then I got back to some builds; one I was able to knock out right away, and the other I took my sweet ass time with. And without any pressure to get them done at a certain pace, or to worry about writing, or taking work-in-progress shots, I found myself in my happy place.

But now we get to the tricky part - how to stay in that happy place?

(Some) Shorter Posts

Going forward, I’m going to try to keep the writing on High Grades to be as short and sweet as possible, unless it’s one I really like. I feel like I’m finally in the right headspace to actually do this, so we’ll see how it goes.

(Some) Longer Posts

I find myself still enjoying doing deep dives on Master Grades, so I’ll continue to do that. I just won’t hold myself to any sort of timely posting schedule.

Other Kinds of Posts

Well not really, but kinda. There are times where I go into topics that really ought to be in their own separate post. Doing this won’t necessarily reduce the number of words I write, but I’m hoping that by organizing my thoughts and arguments into discrete pieces, I may have an easier focusing and editing.

Worst Case Scenario

The worst case is that I just don’t post about every build, but I’d like to at least try. We’ll see.
