I did not intend to build the head on the same night as the waist, but things worked out that way.
First, the pieces:

The head has a little easter egg of sorts. There is a head beneath the head, if you will:
That right there is the head of a Leo mobile suit, minus the top. Since the Leo is essentially a scaled down, simpler, mass-produced variant of the Tallgeese, this makes some amount of sense, but I still do not understand why anyone would build this head underneath.
Whatever. Eventually we will put this sucker over it. Without the red plumage, this reminds me of a paintball mask:
